Cespedes to stay with Mets

NEW YORK - Reportedly, Yoenis Cespedes has signed a 3 year 75M contract to remain with the New York Mets.

The 30 year old Cuban outfielder hit. 287 with 14 doubles, four triples, 17 home runs, 44 RBIs and a .942 OPS in 57 regular-season games with the Mets in 2015.

Aroldis Chapman will not be charged


MIAMI - Yankees newly obtained reliever Aroldis Chapman will not be charged for a alleged domestic dispute that occurred between him and his girlfriend last October.

After a thorough investigation by the Davie Police Department and the Office of the State Attorney is was concluded that there wasn't enough evidence to pursue charges.

Dozens of officers that were involved that evening were interviewed and stated that there were conflicting reports from the involved.


Munenori Kawasaki signs with Cubs

TORONTO - Fan favorite Munenori Kawasaki has moved on. The Chicago Cubs has signed 'Muni' to a minor league contract.

Kawasaki's enthusiasm and unique interviews earned him a lot of fans while playing for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Kimbrel out... Rodney in...

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Padres have offered veteran reliever Fernando Rodney to a 1 year contract at 1.5M pending physical.

Rodney will replace Craig Kimbrel in the Padres Bullpen.

Rodney has 236 saves in 13 big league seasons with the Tigers, Rays, Angels, Mariners and Cubs.

Upton to Motor City


DETROIT - The Detroit Tiger have signed outfielder Justin Upton to a six-year contract worth $132.75 million pending a physical.

The right-handed-hitting Upton had a .251 ERA last season with the Padres.
